Question: Q: Ctrl + c / v does not work I have been searching for other people having the same problem but havn't managed to. I'm running windows xp professional on my MacBook Pro 2.33 (not unibody) and I have never had the shortcuts work for copy and paste (or pretty much anything needing the ctrl button to function) As convenient as it is, no one wants to deal with copy and paste not working in Windows 10. Usually, simply using Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste is all you need to do. Alternatively, you can right-click with your mouse, using the menu to copy and paste. But when those functions don't work, it's frustrating @sagarpatil232 The OP claims Ctrl+C does not work. How exactly do you have the same issue if the cursor just blinks like as if insert key is on. Have you disabled all extensions before reproducing ? Copy link sagarpatil232 commented May 17, 2018. Thanks. Disabling vim extension worked for me So, you type part of a function name and press Ctrl-Space, waiting for the magic to work and the rest of the name to be automatically typed.but it doesn't happen! In the image above (which unfortunately doesn't include the cursor) I had typed ST, and pressed Ctrl-Space to autocomplete it but nothing happened I don't switch my keyboard layout and sometimes when I use a key combination that includes Ctrl, Alt and a vowel I don't get the shortcut I've configured, but rather an accented vowel. I can confirm this problem with consonants. For example, on a US International keyboard Ctrl+K Ctrl+Alt+S does not work if the right Alt key is used
CTRL+C, CTRL+V not working. I've been having this issue recently were the CRTL+C and CTRL+V commands for copy and paste randomly stop working. When CRTL+C is used the command bar shows the number of object selected so it recognizes the objects copied. However when the CRTL+V command is used and it asks to specify the insertion point nothing copies Actually it's Ctr+Z, Ctrl+A, Ctrl+S, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V. Although the alternative combination for select all still works Ctrl+Num5. Although, at the same time, all shortcuts are working properly in Excel or Powerpoint. I tried reseting the custom shortcuts but the button is greyed out, so there must have not been made any changes there Not by clicking on the clipboard buttons, right clicking, Ctrl V. C & P options were available but the only one that seemed to work was copy. I could however still c & p in notepad. First I had a look at my memory usage because I always have a hundred things running in the foreground Some of my colleagues do not have the problem - they can copy-paste pictures between applications and MIRO. But it does not work if the MIRO board is opened in the MIRO-app 177. +50. Word: Ctrl + arrow keys not working as expected. Here's a strange one in Word—all of a sudden I couldn't use a Ctrl+arrow key to jump from word to word. I thought about closing Word then trying again, which likely would've worked. Then I heard a very faint sound coming from my headphones on the desk next to me When I press Ctrl+Backspace, sometimes a small square is inserted, instead of the entire word being erased. The problem only happens in some text boxes; in others the shortcut works like it should. Start menu search box: works. Notepad: doesn't work. Notepad2: works. Firefox: works. I'm running Windows 7 x64 Ctrl-b + c, %, n, w, etc not working in tmux console. I installed tmux using sudo apt-get install tmux on my Ubuntu 16.04 system. I guess everyone does it that way. But some days ago, I tried to use this shortcut and it's not working! If I type copybase it works fine, but when I press Ctrl+Shift+C (it doesn't matter if an object is selected or not) my crosshair get stuck on the screen, and nothing happens. If I click the screen, the crosshair is free but still nothing. Reasons why your Windows Key does not Work. When I press CTRL + A in Column A, it selects only Column A. I figure this is why the A-Z Sort isn't working correctly. But when I do CTRL + A on the original Sheet I copied from, everything gets selected regardless. It would save me a ton of work if I could do the A-Z sort and have all the columns match But A/C is more than just comfort; it's a safety issue too. In fact, one of the most dangerous places for someone to be during a heat wave is inside of their car without A/C since temperatures can spike to dangerous levels. So if your vehicle's A/C is only kicking out hot air, you should take steps immediately to get the problem fixed Solved: Hi Just got the above laptop.
